On June 20, 2017, Judge Nelson Stephan Roman of the Southern District of New York granted final approval to the class action settlement in Vincent, et al v. People Against Dirty. The Sultzer Law Group filed the lawsuit in 2016, alleging that People Against Dirty sold products to consumers advertising to be naturally derived when in fact they contained a number of synthetic ingredients.

In addition to injunctive relief requiring People Against Dirty to change its product labeling, the settlement also allows each class member to receive a cash payment totaling a full refund in many cases. The total value of the settlement is $2.8 million.

“We are pleased that Judge Roman approved the settlement,” said Jason Sultzer, the firm’s founding partner. “The settlement is a significant victory for consumers and will compensate them for the products that they purchased.”
