Charles Schimmel

Charles Schimmel has successfully litigated complex legal matters and commercial disputes for more than 25 years. He zealously advocates for both individuals and businesses in state and federal trial and appellate courts across the country. Mr. Schimmel has secured favorable outcomes for his clients—through both settlement and trial—in a wide range of matters, from relatively straightforward consumer class actions to complex antitrust disputes resulting in settlements worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Mr. Schimmel began his career at a respected rural general practice law firm before joining one of the nation’s largest international law firms, where he handled pharmaceutical defense litigation. Since then, he has litigated and tried cases across diverse areas of the law, including consumer class actions, antitrust disputes, contract and business matters, shareholder derivative suits, bank fraud, professional malpractice claims, and oil and gas royalty underpayment cases.

Based in the firm’s Denver office, Mr. Schimmel enjoys outdoor activities, live music, and exploring the Rocky Mountains with his wife and their golden retriever.
